Global Village Band

Global Village’s beginnings go back to when Perry Levinski, John Gagnon and John Petryk were just teenagers with a common goal.  “Music”.

Fast forward to 2008 when they wrote their first CD released “Consumer Good”. Global Village enjoyed great success with the released single “The Dance” which made it to the top 4 at 4 on FM radio stations. Other singles released included a beautiful ballad called  “Oh You” and a classic rocker called “Global News”.

With the success of the first CD behind them, in 2010 songwriters John Gagnon and Perry Levinski released a second CD called Rock Dance, featuring dance song “Do It Wit You”, a classic ballad called “I still Hold You Tight” and several other compilations with a balance between rock and dance music.
 
Success called again and in 2015 came the third CD “Hat Trick”. Shifting a bit towards a blues rock sound and mixing in a few ballads, releases “Anna” and “Sometimes I Like” steadily climbed the charts and continued to garner accolades for Global Village.
   
Late 2016 saw the introduction of singer Darcey Nylund, a classic front man who lives for “live” performances, often leaving the stage and getting up close to the “room”. Darcy has also penned the lyrics for two of the bands newest songs called “Hillbilly Rock” and “They Got it Right” 
 
Global Village’s 4th CD is released through World Music Stage Records and is aptly called................”They Got it Right”
